# Add an option to select

There's a `<select>`:

```html
<select id="genres">
  <option value="rock">Rock</option>
  <option value="blues" selected>Blues</option>
</select>
```

Use JavaScript to:

1. Show the value and the text of the selected option.
2. Add an option: `<option value="classic">Classic</option>`.
3. Make it selected.
