This sensor doesn’t work anymore as <a href="https://yahoo.uservoice.com/forums/382977-finance/suggestions/32103877-yahoo-stock-quote-api-please-bring-back">Yahoo!</a> decommissioned the service in early November 2017. A repleacement is the <a href="/components/sensor.alpha_vantage/"><code class="highlighter-rouge">alpha_vantage</code> sensor</a>.

<p>The <code class="highlighter-rouge">yahoo_finance</code> platform uses <a href="https://finance.yahoo.com/">Yahoo Finance</a> to monitor the stock market.</p>
