Loading indicator behaviour and look

When I start the app it needs to load the videos for the home page first and it takes some time which is ok. But the first row doesn't say anything, the second lakes "Loading ..." and the third also doesn't say anything.

I'm trying to think of a nicer loading indicator than the spinner.

I'm thinking for loading video cards we should show a dummy card with rectangles instead of text to indicate that it's just a dummy and then it should have some kind of a simmering animation, by simmering I mean like shiny metal in the sun when you drive by, but just very faint. I saw it in other websites and apps and I liked that better than the circle.

And for video loading in full screen we should show the thumbnail but a bit darker and there we should keep the circle loader.
